Plunge Pool and Swim Spa to Yarra Glen

This year Spa City Spas have noticed a big increase in our sales in the Plunge Pools and Swim Spas both local and country areas of to Victoria. Most of our clients have decided to go for either a 4 metre pool or the new 6 metre lap pool. Your cost for the plunge pool start from the $9990.00 price range plus your equipment this can vary a little depending on what you decide on. Some may use Gas heating, some Heat Pumps, some Solar, some Electric you have lots of options. Even your choose of jets to the pool your have a choice of options which Spa City Spas will advise you on during our discussions.

Spa City Spas and Jazz Spas Australia plunge pools will cost much less to install than a swimming pool. For budget figures you should allow from $22000.00 to maybe $30000.00 for your complete project. Your options and costing we can help you with. Your permit application Spa City will be able to assist you with. Building permits you should allow around the 4 weeks to be processed. You may need what we call an Owners builder approval – this is not at all difficult to obtain. Our permit people will arrange for you.

Installation quotes can be arranged for you.  Spa City Spas would normally do a site visit if necessary. All our Plunge Pools and swim Spas are made here in Melbourne. If you are planning to do one this year you will need to get a move on. We are currently very busy and as we get closer to December close down date I can see that we will be closing off our order most likely sometime in  October. So NOW is the time to order.

Portable Spa Pool delivery to Parkdale

Portable Spa Pools for the family home and holiday home.This was a easy access to the back yard for positioning of our portable spa pool. Our Seaview 15/20 model is our most popular seller. It is made here in Melbourne by our Manufacture who have being in business as long as Spa City Spas have now over 30 years. Spa City Spas Seaview portable is available ex stock unless we have a big run on SALES and you will have to wait till our new stock comes in. Our spas are electric powered using a standard power point 10 amp with 1.5 Kw heater. Led light available and with the Australian Made Edgetec stainless steel jets all adjustable. Davey Spa Power 400 controller unit – Australian well known Company. The control pad is digital and will heat to 40 Degrees. During the summer months you can run the spa pool at lower temperatures maybe as low as 22 degrees – through this may be a little to cold for us.

You may be interested to know that some of our clients use their spa 1 to 2 times a day. Spa City Spas recommend using a Chlorine or Bromine free sanitising system. Our Starter Kit we supply a Peroxsil 395 Kit Easy to use and great for the skin. 

You will notice in the picture that our client has made up a base using treated pine sleepers – cost only around $150.00.

This works out much cheaper than using concrete and is green friendly maybe! Normal base required for your portable spas are the following – Concrete base , Paving Slabs, Treated Pine Sleepers as shown in the pictures Crush rock and sand – but this requires some sort of finish, decking.

Night Time Plunge Pool & Spa – Swim Spa

Our Plunge pool & spa in Glen Iris looks just great at night. I took this shot after completing water check and adding some mineral salts to the spa and pool. Hot night temperature from memory it was in the high 30’s during the day. These Swim Spas are just great fun for all the family to cool down before going to bed – very very refreshing.

Jazz Plunge Spa and Pool – Colour Ocean Wave surrounded timber decking and the Plunge pool was with a Galvanised frame support as a stand alone unit. Heating by Astral Pools HX 120 spa and pool heater. What can I say except all clients are just soo happy with the product and the family time together that the Swim Spa Plunge Pools bring.

Spa Maintenance – Spa Filter Cartridges

Your spa filter cartridges are made from fine polyester paper like material,specifically designed to filter out body oils,dirt and debris etc.” Clean filters – Clean water” Your average life expectancy of these filter element are approximately 12-18 months,with is with proper care and correct water maintenance.

Cleaning intervals are dependent on usage load. Our recommendation is to clean once a week to remove any accumulation of any dirt and others from between each pleat. This can be done by removal of filter element from spa and using your garden hose to wash out any built up of oil and others dirt.

Once a month you should soak your filters in an approved Cartridge Cleaner Product over night. Rinse off and then replace them into your Spa . Some of our Clients will buy a second set so as to not have any downtime with their Spa Usage.

If you are not happy with your water quality
it could be due to your filter cartridge condition. Either due for replacement or due for a good clean. Remember ” Clean filters – Clean water”
